PENOBSCOT COUNTY BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING NOTICE

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 5 PM members of the Penobscot County Budget Committee will meet to review the 2024 Penobscot County Budget and the 2024-2025 Penobscot County Unorganized Territory Budget. This meeting will be held in-person in the County Commissioners Chambers located on the 2nd floor 97 Hammond Street, Bangor, Maine. The meeting will also be live streamed for the General Public to view via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Penobscot CountyGovernment.

The 2024 Proposed Budget reflects expenditures of $29,204,636; estimated Revenues & Surplus transfer of $6,317,111 for an estimate of $22,887,525 to be raised by taxation.

The 2024-2025 Unorganized Territory Budget reflects expenditures of $2,509,239; estimated Revenues & Surplus transfer of $401,493 for an estimate of $2,107,745 to be raised by taxation.

A copy of the proposed budgets will be available for review in the Administration Office during regular business hours and also posted on our website at https: www.penobscot-county.net/budget
